We bring your existing game to new platforms without losing what makes it good, so it runs well, feels native and passes platform review.

## Platforms we port between

- PC to console, and console to PC
- PC or console to mobile (iOS and Android)
- Mobile to PC
- Flat-screen games to VR, where the design suits it

## What porting actually involves

- **Performance and memory:** hitting the target frame rate within each platform’s memory limits.
- **Input and controls:** controller, touch, mouse and keyboard, and button prompts per platform.
- **UI and text:** scaling for TVs, handhelds and phones, and safe areas.
- **Platform services:** saves, achievements or trophies, and online features.
- **Certification prep:** working through each platform holder’s technical requirements before submission.
- **Store submission and day-one patches.**

## Console access

Console builds need developer accounts and dev kits from the platform holders. If you already have them, we work inside your accounts. If you don’t, we’ll walk you through applying.

Our founder, Syed Muhammad Sayam, is credited in Programming/Engineering on *God of War: Sons of Sparta* (Mega Cat Studios, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, PS5, 2026). That credit is his personal work before founding Strafe Theory.

## Common questions

### Do you need our source code?

Yes. Porting means rebuilding and optimizing the game for new hardware, so we need the full project, including source code and assets.

### Which engines can you port?

Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot and Cocos projects. If your game uses a custom engine, tell us about it and we’ll assess it on the first call.

### How much does a port cost?

It depends on the engine, the target platforms and how much the game needs to change. We review the project and quote before work starts.

### Can you handle certification?

We prepare the build against each platform’s technical requirements and support you through submission. The submission itself goes through your publisher or developer account.
